Stop the Loonies links to other sites

On the Stop the Loonies website there are a few links to other websites under the banner "Sites worth a visit", namely;

The obligatory Kent International Airport itself

http://manstonairport.org.uk/, which is an unofficial airport love-in, owned by a Denis Holton

Kent Air Ambulance - Owned by the Air Ambulance team

Kent Forklift Training - Owned by the company itself

Kent Safety Training - A company whose lead trainer is Carl Davies

KIA Fire - Website owned by Carl Davies

I'm not sure why these companies/people would want to be linked to a yellow cartoon character asking you to "kiss his arse", but they should be careful who they associate themselves with.

If I were any of them, I'd ask the owner of Stop the Loonies to remove the link, assuming of course they know who it is.

and your point is?

I think the point is that it all rather points to the identity of the mysterious Mr Loony himself.

He also links to Naked in Thanet.

I wouldn't know about that.

I'd just think these decent local service providers wouldn't want themselves associated with someone who patently hates Ramsgate and its people.

he doesn't link to anyone right now - the looney blog is closed!

Yes it's closed, because he's done his job! Whereas YOU have done?

......someone who patently hates Ramsgate and its people.

More like someone who loves Ramsgate and wants to give its residents the opportunity of taking a holiday from their local airport :)

I think you will find Infratil's "Masterplan" and the passengers it wants to attract is wholly dependant on a little old town called....London.

Thanet residents alone cannot make Manston profitable.

OMG!! I thought you'd been killed or at least maimed in some random accident Steve, you hadn't posted for soo long I thought you may be decomposing in some abandoned semi or in a ditch.

Thanks heavens above that you are still with us, I was missing the laughter that you bring to me and many others.

Possibly Tim Garbutt's continuous calls on Infratil to stop their pollution have had the positive effect of closing Homer's site? Tim had much success in getting his blog onto the Google alerts for Infratil to the extent that he received complaints from Matt Clarke. Not nice to have your success down under with Shell etc tainted by horrible gossip from Thanit........
